Ear infections are very painful and not always easy to treat. Also prevention does it start with a regular check of the ears especially for dogs with floppy ears (once or twice a week).
First of all, the auditory sphere must be cleared of all the hairs that obstruct it, plugs the duct and allows the fermentation to take place. Instill then a specific cleaning liquid in the duct, massage well the base of the ear and wipe everything that comes out. The operation can be repeated several times and is essential before any otitis treatment.
Never use cotton swabs, which tend to push debris to the bottom of the duct and create ignition-generating plugs.
- Once or twice a week
- 1 to 2 times a day in case of otitis
- Never cotton buds
- Essential before any treatment
